TU515 is the screw-terminal standard I/O base for compatible ABB AC500/S500 analog and 24 V DC digital modules. It supplies the field-termination layer between the plug-in I/O module, process voltage and local I/O bus.

Forty terminals are arranged in four channel groups. The inserted I/O module determines the actual signal assignment, while the base provides the common mechanical and electrical connection system.

• Connects the plug-in I/O module to the previous and following positions on the local I/O bus.
• Provides forty screw terminals for field signals and the common UP/ZP process-supply connections.

• TU516 is the spring-terminal counterpart and must not be treated as the same orderable base.
• Standard TU515 does not include the hot-swap designation used by TU5xx-H products.
