TU520-ETH is the terminal unit used beneath compatible ABB AC500 and S500 PROFINET communication interface modules. It provides the network, subordinate-bus and process-supply connections for gateway modules such as CI504-PNIO and CI506-PNIO.

Two RJ45 interfaces with indication LEDs connect the PROFINET network. Three removable connectors serve the subordinate bus systems, while six spring terminals distribute the UP and ZP process supply. The wired base can remain installed when the plug-in interface module is replaced.
