The 1305-KBA09 is a Dynamic Braking Kit accessory designed for use with Allen‑Bradley 1305 adjustable frequency 

AC drives to provide enhanced braking performance beyond the drive’s internal capabilities. When installed and enabled 

via the drive’s parameters, the dynamic braking kit adds an external resistor and brake control assembly that helps the 

drive dissipate excess energy during deceleration, allowing the connected motor to slow more quickly and preventing 

overvoltage faults on the DC bus during heavy braking conditions.
