The 1746-IH16 is a 16‑point, current‑sinking DC input module for the SLC 500 programmable‑controller 

family. It is designed to accept 125 V DC (nominal) discrete input signals and convert them into logic‑level 

signals readable by the PLC — enabling connection of field devices such as switches, sensors, or relay 

contacts operating on DC control voltage.
