Allen-Bradley 20-750-ENETR EtherNet/IP Module
A dual-port 10/100 Mbps EtherNet/IP option module for PowerFlex 750-Series drives with star, linear and Device Level Ring connectivity.
Product Identification
20-750-ENETR is a dual-port EtherNet/IP communication option for PowerFlex 750-Series drives. ENET1 and ENET2 operate through an embedded switch and support 10 or 100 Mbps, half- or full-duplex Ethernet communication.
In adapter mode the module supports star, linear and Device Level Ring networks. On a compatible PowerFlex 755, tap mode uses the additional ENET3 device port to route integrated motion traffic to the drive embedded EtherNet/IP adapter.

Functions
- Connects a PowerFlex 750-Series drive to an EtherNet/IP controller and engineering network.
- Provides two switched network ports for star, linear or ring installation.
- Transfers drive command, reference, status, feedback and configured Datalink values.
- Supports Automatic Device Configuration when the controller, software and drive firmware meet the stated baseline.
- Offers hardware-switch, BOOTP, DHCP and parameter-based IP address configuration.
- Provides a PowerFlex 755 tap-mode path for documented integrated motion applications.
Applications
- PowerFlex 750 drive control from a Logix EtherNet/IP architecture.
- Linear drive networks that use the option module embedded switch.
- Device Level Ring machine networks requiring resilient media paths.
- Drive replacement strategies using Automatic Device Configuration.
- PowerFlex 755 integrated motion installations using the specified tap-mode design.
Lifecycle
- 20-750-ENETR is an Active PowerFlex 750-Series communication option.
- Confirm the exact drive model, option-port location, drive firmware and module operating mode before installation.
- Save the IP configuration, adapter parameters, Datalink map and controller module definition before exchange.
- Do not enable tap mode unless the drive and integrated-motion architecture match the documented PowerFlex 755 arrangement.
- After replacement, verify ring or linear links, controller ownership, command and reference paths, feedback and every configured Datalink.
