Allen-Bradley 25B-D1P4N114 PowerFlex 525 AC Drive
A filtered Frame A converter with a 1.4 A output, embedded EtherNet/IP, Safe Torque Off and an integral keypad with speed potentiometer.
Key Information
25B-D1P4N114 is a compact PowerFlex 525 drive for three-phase 380 to 480 V AC supplies. It provides the same 0.4 kW rating for normal-duty and heavy-duty service and is configured as an IP20 open-type Frame A unit.
The exact N114 suffix identifies the filtered version. Embedded EtherNet/IP, an included brake IGBT and integrated safety functionality are part of this catalog-number configuration.
Functions
- Controls a compatible AC motor from a compact drive package with programmable speed, acceleration, deceleration and protection functions.
- Connects directly to an EtherNet/IP network for supported command, status, parameter and diagnostic exchange.
- Provides integrated Safe Torque Off for use within a properly designed and validated machine safety circuit.
- Includes a brake IGBT for an engineered dynamic-braking arrangement using the required external components.
- Supports local commissioning from the integral LED keypad and speed potentiometer.

Installation
- Install the Frame A drive vertically with the ventilation clearances and ambient limits specified for the PowerFlex 520 series.
- For the listed UL application, coordinate the branch circuit with a maximum 6 A Class CC, J or T fuse or the documented 140MT-C3E-B25 breaker option.
- Terminate the motor, line, protective earth and control wiring with the separation and shielding practices required for the installation.
- Configure the IP address, EtherNet/IP ownership and drive parameters before connecting the equipment to automatic control.
- Validate the complete Safe Torque Off circuit independently; the drive function does not replace a machine-level risk assessment.
Lifecycle
- Rockwell Automation lists 25B-D1P4N114 as active.
- Keep the D1P4 current code, N114 filter construction and 25B EtherNet/IP product identity together during ordering or replacement.
- Save the parameter file, network configuration, motor data and safety-circuit details before exchanging an installed drive.
- After installation, verify motor direction, current, network control, braking behavior and the validated safety response.
