The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe is a high‑precision, eddy‑current displacement sensor designed for non‑contact measurement of shaft position, radial displacement, and vibration in rotating machinery (compressors, turbines, pumps, motors, etc.). As part of the 3300 XL transducer system, when paired with a compatible extension cable and Proximitor electronics it produces an output voltage directly proportional to the gap between the probe tip and the monitored conductive surface — enabling accurate measurement of both static shaft position and dynamic vibration for condition monitoring, machinery protection, and predictive maintenance.
