The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System includes a single 3300 XL 8 mm probe, one 3300 XL extension cable, and one 3300 XL Proximitor sensor. It generates a voltage output that varies linearly with the gap between the probe tip and any conductive target, allowing simultaneous measurement of static position and dynamic vibration. Typical service is vibration and position monitoring on fluid-film bearing machinery, plus Keyphasor® reference and speed detection.
The 3300 XL 8 mm system offers the highest performance among our eddy-current proximity transducer families. The standard 5-metre system meets API 670 requirements for mechanical form, linear range, accuracy, and thermal stability. Every 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers this performance and permits full interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, so component-by-component matching or bench calibration is unnecessary.
