The 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe is a non‑contact eddy‑current displacement transducer designed for high‑

precision monitoring of rotating machinery shafts. As part of the 3300 XL series, it detects the distance between 

the probe tip and the conductive shaft surface, converting that distance into an output voltage proportional to 

shaft position or vibration — enabling both static shaft‑position measurement and dynamic vibration/oscillation 

monitoring.
