Technical Specifications and Description

 The PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer Assembly is designed similarly to the 31000/32000 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies. It retains the same advantages and features for accessing and externally adjusting proximity probes. However, the PROXPAC XL housing cover integrates a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor, making it a fully self-contained proximity probe system. This eliminates the need for an extension cable between the probe and the Proximitor sensor, as well as the need for a separate Proximitor housing. Field wiring connects directly between the monitors and the PROXPAC XL Assemblies.
The housing is constructed from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), an advanced molded thermoplastic material. This replaces the steel and aluminum used in previous Bently Nevada housings. The PPS is reinforced with glass and conductive fibers to enhance strength and improve electrostatic charge dissipation. The PROXPAC XL housing is rated for Type 4X and IP66 environments, offering enhanced protection in harsh conditions.
