Bently Nevada 3500/44M Aeroderivative GT Vibration Monitor
A four-channel 3500 monitor for aeroderivative gas-turbine vibration applications with configurable signal integration, tracking and band-pass filtering.
Product Identification
3500/44M is the Bently Nevada aeroderivative GT vibration monitor for the 3500 machinery protection system. It continuously compares configured measurements with alarm setpoints and communicates machine information to operations and maintenance users.
The monitor accepts up to four signals through supported Aero GT, Prox/Velom or multimode I/O arrangements. Two Keyphasor signals may be used so each channel pair can follow a different tracking filter.
The ordering code, selected I/O type and hazardous-area option must remain together because the monitor supports several distinct rear-I/O arrangements.

Functions
Monitor aeroderivative vibration
Processes four supported vibration channels for machinery condition and alarm evaluation.
Track operating speed
Uses separate Keyphasor references so the two channel pairs may follow different tracking filters.
Adapt to machine modes
Multimode I/O can select among multiple alarm-parameter sets for defined operating conditions.
Applications
Aeroderivative gas turbines
Use the approved sensor and interface-module arrangement for the installed engine package.
Tracked vibration measurements
Retain normal-speed and bandwidth selections used by the 1X tracking configuration.
Multimode protection
Document every alarm set and the contact or gateway command that selects it.
Lifecycle
Record
Capture 3500/44M, front monitor part, rear I/O type, sensors, Keyphasor sources and alarm sets.
Match
Confirm the exact internal or external termination option and hazardous-area approval.
Exchange
Preserve channel pairs, sensor power, buffered outputs and recorder wiring under the approved procedure.
Validate
Prove channel readings, filters, alarms, mode selection and Keyphasor tracking before return to service.

FAQ
How many channels does 3500/44M support?
The 3500/44M design is a four-channel monitor accepting one to four signals.
Why must the rear I/O type accompany a 3500/44M request?
Aero GT, Prox/Velom and multimode internal or external termination options serve different sensor paths.
Can each channel pair use a separate Keyphasor reference?
Yes. Two Keyphasor inputs allow each channel pair to use a different tracking filter.
What should be retained for a multimode 3500/44M installation?
Record every alarm-parameter set and the contact or software command that selects the active mode.
What acceptance evidence is useful after replacing 3500/44M?
Document stable channel values, correct filters, alarm operation, recorder outputs and tracking behavior.
