Bently Nevada 3500/62 Six-Channel Process Variable Monitor
A six-channel rack monitor for continuously supervised pressures, flows, temperatures and levels.
Product Overview
3500/62 is the Bently Nevada six-channel Process Variable Monitor for parameters that merit continuous machinery supervision, including pressure, flow, temperature and level.
The monitor can be programmed for current or voltage measurement. The selected rear I/O determines whether the rack receives ±10 V signals, isolated +4 to +20 mA loops or +4 to +20 mA loops through internal intrinsic-safety barriers.
Each conditioned signal is compared with user-programmable alarm setpoints. In existing TMR installations, three adjacent monitors use voting, but the current manufacturer document notes that TMR units are no longer available for purchase.
Performance
Process-signal conditioning
Converts compatible field current or voltage signals into configured process variables.
Alarm comparison
Continuously compares active measurements with programmed alert and danger limits.
Operations visibility
Supplies machine process information for operations and maintenance decisions.
Rack configuration
Uses 3500 Rack Configuration Software to define measurement and alarm behavior.

About IndustryParts
https://www.industryparts.com/Signal type and termination architecture are kept separate
IndustryParts records the 3500/62 monitor, rear I/O, loop ranges and rack configuration together so current, voltage and barrier executions are not mixed.
System Integration
Select the signal architecture
Document voltage, isolated-current or barrier input for every active channel and match the correct rear I/O.
Preserve engineering data
Archive transmitter range, loop power, scaling, units and alert or danger setpoints before changes.
Prove the protection path
Inject known signals and verify displayed values, channel status and every required alarm or relay action.
Applications
Pressure and flow supervision
Monitoring process values that affect machine operating condition.
Temperature and level monitoring
Bringing proportional field signals into the machinery-protection rack.
Existing TMR installations
Maintaining documented three-monitor voting groups with an obsolescence plan.
FAQ
Which rear I/O belongs with 3500/62?
Choose from voltage, isolated-current or barrier architecture and internal versus external termination; the family name alone is insufficient.
Can a voltage channel be moved to current input on 3500/62 without review?
No. The rear I/O, transmitter, loop power, scaling and channel configuration must all support the new signal.
What should accompany a 3500/62 enquiry for an existing TMR group?
Provide all three monitor and I/O identities, slot order, voting configuration and the current spare strategy.
Why must custom engineering units be preserved for 3500/62?
The scaled unit is part of how the process value is interpreted, displayed and compared with alarm setpoints.
What closes a 3500/62 commissioning test?
Known-signal injection, correct engineering values, stable status and successful alarm and relay proof complete the record.
