ModelCOMMTEST220
Product TypeTwo-Channel Portable Data Collector
01

Overview

COMMTEST220 is a two-channel Bently Nevada portable data collector for machinery condition monitoring. It supports route collection, machine-side analysis and transfer of routes and results with System 1 using wireless, file, cellular or USB workflows through a compatible handheld.

The collector accepts common vibration and process signal types, provides simultaneous sampling and supports tachometer, phase, FRF, balancing and modal-impact work when the required sensors and accessories are present.

Features

  • Measures spectra, waveforms, overall values, phase, demodulation and multi-band 6Pack data.
  • Supports cross-channel phase and FRF work plus modal impact testing with an optional instrumented hammer.
  • Warns for sensor bias, short circuit or disconnected inputs.
  • Transfers route and analysis data to System 1 through the S1 Collector application.
04

Applications

  • Route-based vibration data collection and trending.
  • Field analysis, balancing and cross-channel phase measurement.
  • Modal impact testing and machinery diagnostic surveys.
05

Lifecycle

  • Confirm collector serial number, handheld operating system, S1 Collector version and System 1 workflow.
  • List sensors, cables, laser tachometer, charger, power plug and carrying case separately.
  • Charge only within the documented ambient range and maintain the factory-service battery record.

FAQ

What is the main selection difference between COMMTEST220 and COMMTEST240?

The 220 model has two simultaneous sensor channels, while the required measurement tasks and accessory set still determine the complete kit.

Is a handheld included with COMMTEST220?

No. Select a compatible handheld separately and verify its operating system, communication method and site rating.

Which accessories should be specified with COMMTEST220?

Identify accelerometers, cables, tachometer, reflective tape, charger plug, carrying case and any balancing or impact-hammer kit.

Can COMMTEST220 be used as hazardous-area equipment?

The COMMTEST ordering option is non-rated; hazardous work requires the appropriate approved collector, handheld and accessories as a complete system.

What software details prevent a COMMTEST220 workflow mismatch?

Provide System 1 version, S1 Collector application version, route-transfer method, handheld platform and support agreement status.

What incoming inspection is useful for COMMTEST220?

Check the serial label, enclosure, both sensor channels, tach input, battery, charger, Bluetooth link and route-data transfer.
