SCOUT200 | TWO CHANNELS | INTRINSICALLY SAFE

Bently Nevada SCOUT220-IS Portable Data Collector

A two-channel simultaneous vibration collector for hazardous-area route work, dynamic analysis and System 1 data transfer.

BrandBently Nevada
ModelSCOUT220-IS
Product TypeTwo-Channel Intrinsically Safe Portable Data Collector
01

Product Overview

SCOUT220-IS is the two-channel member of the Bently Nevada SCOUT200 intrinsically safe portable data-collector family. Its acquisition module communicates by Bluetooth with an industrial handheld running the S1 Collector application.

It supports on-route and off-route vibration collection, tachometer or Keyphasor triggering and transfer of routes and results with System 1. The handheld device is a separate selection and the complete hazardous-area system rating is limited by its least-rated component.

02

Performance

  • Samples two sensor channels simultaneously for route collection and cross-channel measurements.
  • Supports spectra, waveforms, synchronous sampling, peak demodulation, coast-down, run-up, interval capture and 6Pack measurements.
  • Provides cross-channel phase, FRF and two-plane balancing workflows with the required sensors and accessories.
  • Operates for about ten hours in typical route collection and transfers data through the paired handheld.

System Integration

  • Use a tested industrial handheld and compatible S1 Collector release; Bluetooth generation depends on collector serial number.
  • Select only sensors, cables, handhelds and accessories permitted by the hazardous-location installation-control drawing.
  • Confirm System 1 version, route-transfer method, user access and mobile-device security controls.
  • For calibration traceability, distinguish standard test data from a separately requested metrology service.
05

Applications

  • Hazardous-area machinery vibration routes
  • Two-channel phase and balancing measurements
  • Portable analysis of motors, pumps, fans, compressors and gearboxes
  • System 1 route collection and condition-monitoring programs

FAQ

When should SCOUT220-IS be selected instead of SCOUT240-IS?

Choose the two-channel model when simultaneous two-input work meets the route and analysis plan; four-channel or triaxial work requires the 240 model.

Does SCOUT220-IS include the industrial handheld?

No. Select a tested handheld and its hazardous-area rating separately, and confirm operating-system and Bluetooth compatibility.

Can any accelerometer be connected to SCOUT220-IS in a hazardous area?

No. The sensor, cable and handheld must comply with the installation-control drawing, and the whole system inherits the lowest protection rating.

What software information is needed for a SCOUT220-IS quotation?

Provide System 1 and S1 Collector versions, route workflow, handheld type, collector serial number and required support or metrology scope.

How does the SCOUT220-IS serial number affect handheld selection?

Earlier collectors use Bluetooth Classic, while later units use Bluetooth Low Energy; this changes compatible devices and operating-system support.

What incoming checks are useful for SCOUT220-IS?

Verify approval label, serial number, battery, charger, two input channels, tach input, Bluetooth pairing, route transfer and requested calibration records.
