A VersaMax network interface unit that exchanges I/O, status, control and diagnostics with a PROFIBUS-DP master.
IC200PBI001 is the VersaMax PROFIBUS-DP Network Interface Unit. It operates as a slave station and automatically exchanges process I/O together with status, control and diagnostic information through the configured master.
The station record includes the NIU address, master configuration, module order, I/O lengths, power budget and field wiring. An interface module alone cannot reconstruct those relationships after replacement.

Presents the configured VersaMax module train to a PROFIBUS-DP master.
Moves process I/O while maintaining status and control relationships.
Provides station and module information needed for network fault isolation.
Accepts the VersaMax station power supply directly at the interface position.
IndustryParts prepares IC200PBI001 enquiries around the complete manufacturer label, requested quantity and installed-system evidence. Share the application record that distinguishes this execution before a supply proposal is prepared.
Export the master and VersaMax station definitions before disturbing IC200PBI001 or the module train.
Retain the installed host, project and connection evidence that defines the approved use of this execution.
Complete the model-specific checks described in the service sequence before return to operation.
Connecting distributed VersaMax modules to a compatible master.
Retaining the established address and byte map during NIU service.
Using diagnostic and module records to separate bus faults from field-I/O faults.
Provide the NIU label, PROFIBUS address, master identity, station module list, I/O byte map, power supply and quantity.
No. Emerson defines the NIU as a slave station; a compatible master remains responsible for the network.
The master configuration and process byte map depend on the physical station population and sequence.
Compare the master configuration, station address, module order, configured data lengths and diagnostic bytes before changing field wiring.
Retain stable master communication, correct cyclic data, clean station diagnostics and verified operation of every installed I/O module.
Send the complete IC200PBI001 label, requested quantity and delivery destination.
