Product Overview

8937-HN is a legacy optic extender used in earlier Honeywell Series 8 I/O extension arrangements. Honeywell’s Series 8 documentation explains that Fiber Option Extender modules extend the I/O Link beyond the S8 C300 cabinet so that Series 8 I/O can be installed remotely.

Honeywell’s November 2019 System HINTS bulletin states that Eaton-MTL stopped production of 8937-HN because of component obsolescence.

System Integration
