Honeywell CC-PAIX02 51405038-475 Series C high-level analog input module with 16-bit conversion, 50 ms scanning and current or voltage input support.
Honeywell CC-PAIX02 is a Series C high-level analog input module for current and voltage signals from process transmitters and sensing devices. It is the non-HART analog-input option in the CC-PAIX01/02 family.
The module combines sixteen-channel signal acquisition with Series C diagnostics, optional redundancy and non-incendive field-power arrangements. The documented channel architecture supports twelve single-ended channels and four differential-capable channels.
CC-PAIX02 must be paired with an approved analog-input IOTA. Honeywell lists CC-TAIX01, CC-GAIX21 and CC-TAID01 for non-redundant designs, with CC-TAIX11, CC-GAIX11 and CC-TAID11 for redundant designs.

Select the IOTA according to redundancy, cabinet layout and single-ended or differential wiring requirements. The CC-TAIX01 is the standard six-inch non-redundant analog-input IOTA, while the corresponding eleven-series IOTAs support redundant arrangements.
Configure every channel for the correct signal type and range. Current inputs use the documented resistance path, while voltage or differential service requires the appropriate IOTA wiring and jumper configuration.
During commissioning, validate the field loop, engineering range, alarm limits, diagnostic state and channel quality in Experion. Record the IOTA model and wiring arrangement together with the CC-PAIX02 module revision.
Confirm the module, IOTA and field connector combination before installation. Series C field connectors accept up to 12 AWG / 2.5 mm stranded wire, but project conductor size, ferrules and terminal preparation must follow the cabinet standard.
Check the IOTA jumpers and the 250-ohm input arrangement before connecting voltage or current transmitters. Verify shield termination, system common and differential-channel wiring against the approved loop drawings.
After insertion, confirm module recognition and diagnostics, then commission each channel with a traceable signal. Test the configured range and alarm behavior without duplicating specification values elsewhere in the page.
Maintain a record of the CC-PAIX02 hardware revision, installed IOTA and channel wiring. Those details are essential when replacing a module or moving from non-redundant to redundant hardware.
Review compatibility with the active Experion release and the approved Series C lifecycle plan before a shutdown. Preserve validated channel configuration and calibration records during replacement.
No. It is the high-level analog-input model without HART communication.
The module provides sixteen inputs arranged as twelve single-ended and four differential-capable channels.
It supports documented voltage ranges and 4–20 mA current inputs from two-wire or self-powered transmitters.
CC-TAIX01 is the standard six-inch non-redundant analog-input IOTA listed for this module family.
Yes, when the approved redundant IOTA and Series C redundancy configuration are used.
Verify IOTA compatibility, jumper and field wiring, channel range, diagnostics, engineering scaling and loop calibration.
