- Install the TC-PRS021 in a clean, ventilated control cabinet (IP20) with ambient temperature within the specified operating range (0°C to +60°C).
- For redundant configurations, install two modules in the same rack. Automatic failover occurs without system interruption.
- Ensure the lithium battery is correctly installed for memory backup. If using a Battery Extension Module (BEM), remove the internal battery.
- When replacing a failed module in a redundant system, the module can be hot-swapped without system shutdown.
- After installation, verify the module is recognized by the Experion PKS system and configured correctly in Control Builder.
