The T8312-7 Expander Interface Adapter Unit is a key component in the ICS Triplex “Trusted®” Triple‑Modular‑Redundant (TMR) control system family, providing robust interconnection between the controller (master) chassis and multiple expander (remote I/O or peripheral) chassis. As the interface adapter, the T8312-7 plugs into the rear of the controller chassis via a 96‑way connector and presents multiple 12‑pin ODU connectors — each leading to an expander chassis.
