two communication interfaces: a first MPI/DP interface supporting speeds up to 12 Mbit/s for connection to programming 

devices and PROFIBUS networks, and a second Ethernet PROFINET interface with an integrated 2‑port switch for 

flexible network integration and real-time communication with distributed I/O systems. A Micro Memory Card (MMC) 

is required for program storage and retention of configuration data.
