Siemens 6SL3210-1PE32-1UL0 SINAMICS G120 PM240-2 Power Module
An unfiltered FSF power module for 380–480 V systems, with an integrated braking chopper and separate 110/90 kW duty ratings.
Key Information
6SL3210-1PE32-1UL0 is an unfiltered SINAMICS G120 PM240-2 power module in frame size FSF. It provides the power stage for a modular drive and is designed for three-phase 380 to 480 V supplies.
The module is rated for 110 kW in low-overload duty and 90 kW in high-overload duty. The UL0 suffix identifies the version without an integrated EMC filter, while the built-in braking chopper supports a correctly engineered external braking resistor.
Functions
- Converts the three-phase line supply into controlled motor output under command of a compatible SINAMICS Control Unit.
- Provides low-overload and high-overload current capability for different machine duty profiles.
- Supports dynamic braking through the internal braking chopper and an external resistor selected for the application.
- Uses internal air cooling to remove power-stage losses from the FSF assembly.
- Separates the replaceable power stage from the Control Unit and operator panel in the modular G120 architecture.

Installation
- Provide an installation-level EMC solution because 6SL3210-1PE32-1UL0 has no integrated filter.
- Select a compatible SINAMICS Control Unit and verify its firmware release for the PM240-2 power stage.
- Maintain the specified airflow and cabinet clearances; do not obstruct the FSF cooling path.
- Size conductors, protective devices, motor cable and braking resistor to the documented current and duty data.
- Commission the drive with the correct motor parameters and overload class.
Lifecycle
- Retain the full UL0 suffix because it distinguishes this unfiltered unit from the AL0 filtered variant.
- Back up Control Unit parameters before replacing the power module.
- Compare motor current and load cycle, not only kilowatt rating, when selecting a spare.
- Inspect fans, cooling passages and braking components during scheduled drive maintenance.
