The Eaton MTL831C Analog Transmitter is an intrinsically safe device designed to transfer multiple hazardous-area 

input signals—such as thermocouples, RTDs, and millivolt sources—to a safe area using a single shielded twisted-pair 

cable. It can monitor up to 16 inputs and supports distances up to 2 km, depending on the application and environment. 

The transmitted data is received and converted into Modbus® serial output by the MTL838C receiver, facilitating 

integration with host systems.
