The ProSoft MVI56-DFCM is a DF1 Half/Full‑Duplex Master/Slave serial communication interface module designed 

for Rockwell Automation ControlLogix® systems. This module allows a ControlLogix processor to interface directly 

with devices that use the DF1 protocol, such as other Allen‑Bradley PLCs, SCADA hosts, and third‑party equipment, 

by offloading DF1 protocol handling from the controller.Each of the module’s two DF1 ports can be individually 

configured as a Master or a Slave, supporting both DF1 Master operations to poll and command remote slave devices 

and DF1 Slave functionality to respond to commands from an external master.
