The 1747-KFC15 is a ControlNet messaging interface module for the SLC 500 series controllers — 

it enables an SLC 5/03, 5/04 or 5/05 processor to send and receive unscheduled messages over a 

ControlNet network. The module plugs into the SLC chassis backplane and provides a serial RS‑232C

interface to the processor, along with dual BNC connectors for ControlNet media. Configuration and 

status are supported via a front‑panel 4‑digit, 7‑segment display showing node address and module 

health.
