The Allen‑Bradley 1794-VHSC Very High Speed Counter Module is a FLEX I/O intelligent I/O module designed for 

high‑speed counting and encoder signal processing in industrial automation systems. It supports two input channels 

with configurable counter modes for quadrature encoder, period/rate, continuous/rate, and pulse‑width modulation 

applications, accepting both single‑ended and differential signals. The module can handle very high pulse frequencies

 (up to 1 MHz) and returns count or frequency data in a digital format suitable for programmable controllers with Ethernet 

or EtherNet/IP connectivity, making it ideal for precise motion monitoring and speed measurement tasks.
