RANGER PRO | TRI-AXIAL | ISA100 WIRELESS CONDITION MONITORING

Bently Nevada Ranger Pro 70M303 Tri-Axial ISA100 Wireless Sensor

A tri-axial wireless accelerometer with integral temperature sensing for ISA100 machinery-monitoring networks.

BrandBently Nevada
ModelRanger Pro 70M303
Product TypeTri-Axial ISA100 Wireless Vibration Sensor
01

Overview

Ranger Pro 70M303 is the tri-axial ISA100 member of the Bently Nevada Ranger Pro wireless condition-monitoring family. It measures acceleration, velocity and base temperature and can deliver overall values, waveforms, spectra and PeakDemod data.

The submitted base model does not include the four ordering fields for mounting hardware, radio, battery and agency approval. Those selections must be completed for the destination network and installation.

Features

  • Collects three-axis vibration information plus integral temperature for low- and medium-criticality machinery.
  • Supports scheduled trending, user-requested Data on Demand and configurable severity detection.
  • Can route traffic for other Ranger Pro devices in an ISA100 mesh or operate in a star topology.
  • Provides over-the-air provisioning and firmware updates or service through the USB docking station.
04

Applications

  • Roller-element-bearing machines such as motors, pumps, fans, blowers and compressors.
  • Wireless monitoring at difficult-to-access points where cable installation is impractical.
  • Reliability programs requiring overall trends and periodic dynamic data.
05

Lifecycle

  • Choose the mounting stud and alignment method before ordering; alignment affects X/Y accuracy.
  • Use only the manufacturer-listed battery types and observe hazardous-area temperature limits.
  • Record gateway, device tag, measurement intervals, alarm settings and firmware.
  • Inspect O-rings, case, mounting and battery condition during scheduled maintenance.

FAQ

Can Ranger Pro 70M303 join a WirelessHART gateway?

The 70M303 base model is the ISA100 version; use the protocol-specific Ranger Pro model and gateway path rather than assuming radio interchangeability.

What must be added to the Ranger Pro 70M303 base number before ordering?

Complete the mounting-hardware, radio, battery and agency-approval fields and confirm any System 1 device-license requirement.

Why does mounting alignment matter for Ranger Pro 70M303?

The tri-axial sensor reports X, Y and Z data; mounting orientation and the selected alignment hardware affect axis interpretation and accuracy.

Which network details should accompany a Ranger Pro 70M303 enquiry?

Provide the ISA100 gateway or wireless device manager, firmware, access-point plan, hop count, System 1 version and site radio constraints.

How should battery service be planned for Ranger Pro 70M303?

Use an approved battery, retain the sealing parts and installation tools, and follow the hazardous-area procedure before opening the sensor.

What proves a Ranger Pro 70M303 installation is ready for service?

Verify secure mounting, correct axis orientation, network health, temperature and vibration data, dynamic acquisition, alarm behavior and device records.
