Functions

CC-PAIH51 accepts high-level current inputs from two-wire or self-powered transmitters and sensing devices. Honeywell documents the following capabilities:

  • Optional redundant operation when installed with the specified redundant IOTA.
  • Integrated non-incendive field power; external user-supplied field power is not required for the supported arrangement.

Installation

Select the IOTA according to the required architecture: CC-TAIX51 for a non-redundant 6-inch arrangement or CC-TAIX61 for a redundant 12-inch arrangement. The field circuits are individually current-limited and documented for Class I, Division 2 non-incendive use.

Engineering note: verify IOTA selection, field wiring, controller release and hazardous-area requirements against the Honeywell project documentation before installation or replacement.
