Allen‑Bradley PLC networks. Part of the 1784‑KTx family of ISA‑based network interface cards, the KTXD variant 

provides dual communication channels and allows the host system to act as an active node on Data Highway (DH+) 

and DH‑485 networks, facilitating data exchange and remote I/O scanning in automation environments. This capability 

enables engineering workstations and diagnostic tools to communicate directly with controllers and distributed I/O
