The Honeywell C7061F2001 Ultraviolet (UV) Flame Detector is a dynamic self‑checking UV flame detector 

engineered to monitor combustion flames by sensing the ultraviolet radiation emitted during the burning of 

gas, oil, or other hydrocarbon fuels.

It incorporates a self‑checking mechanism in which an internal oscillating shutter periodically interrupts UV 

radiation reaching the sensor tube, enabling continuous verification of the sensing tube and associated circuitry 

in conjunction with a compatible flame amplifier.

The detector features an explosion‑proof cast housing with a field‑replaceable UV sensing tube and quartz 

viewing window, a 1‑inch NPT mounting flange with integrated heat block, and color‑coded lead wires for 

efficient electrical connection.
