PM5650-2ETH active revision 3, article 1SAP141000R0378, is an AC500 V3 standard processor module with 80 MB memory. Two independent RJ45 Ethernet TCP/IP interfaces support separate network assignments, complemented by one RS-232/485 port and one CAN interface.
The processor includes a display and memory-card support and requires a TB56xx-2ETH terminal base. The selected base determines how many AC500 communication modules can be installed with the CPU.

Lifecycle
- Use article 1SAP141000R0378 for the active revision 3 processor; earlier R0278 hardware is in the Classic phase.
- Revision 3 requires Automation Builder 2.6.0 or later and CPU and boot firmware V3.6.x or later.
- Do not select TB5660-2ETH for PM5650-2ETH; this processor supports terminal-base capacity through TB5640-2ETH.
- Archive the project, firmware, base type, communication modules and every interface configuration before exchange.
- Validate both Ethernet networks, serial, CAN, display, memory card and local I/O after commissioning.
