The ABB TU833 3BSE038726R1 is an Extended Module Termination Unit (MTU) in the ABB S800 I/O family, serving as 

the field‑wiring interface and signal distribution point for connected analog and digital I/O modules.

The TU833 3BSE038726R1 supports up to 16 I/O channels with two process voltage connections, with each channel 

providing two field signal terminals and one ZP connection. The process voltage can be split into two individually isolated 

groups, each protected by 6.3 A fuses, and the unit distributes the ModuleBus to the associated I/O module and the next 

MTU in the rack while ensuring proper addressing for each installed module.
